Assistance Programs for Contra Costa County Residents

We believe the best home for a pet is the one they are already in, with familiar surroundings and a family who loves them. No one should have to choose between self-care and pet care, but sometimes the cost of care seems insurmountable. We offer several assistance programs to help.

Veterinary Assistance Programs

Free Vaccination (& Microchip) Clinics

Joybound offers free, monthly pet vaccination clinics, held at various locations in Contra Costa County!

Veterinarians and medical staff wearing scrubs and masks perform surgery on an animal in a veterinary clinic. Surgical instruments and supplies are organized on a table, showing a focus on rescuing animals in need.

Spay/Neuter Clinic

Our veterinarians safely surgically sterilize thousands of dogs and cats each year at mobile events and our Walnut Creek clinic.
