We’ll be in attendance at Contra Costa Animal Services‘ Pet Vaccine & Microchip Clinic in Walnut Creek, providing free pet food to pet guardians in Contra Costa County. Guests are welcome to attend for Joybound’s FoodShare pet food pantry, as well as the vaccination and microchipping services provided by our partners at Contra Costa Animal Services.
Thanks to Purina and individual donors, Joybound’s FoodShare program helps keep pets fed and with their families where they belong. Pet food is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with availability depending on supplies. Services begin at 9 AM and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Space fills up quickly, so we advise clients to arrive early.

Please Note
- Please bring a bag to carry your bags of pet food. Joybound recommends a tote, a grocery bag, or something of a similar size.
- FoodShare pickups are done first-come, first-served.
- Participants must be Contra Costa County residents.
- Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Special pet food requests and prescription food cannot be provided.
- Wet/canned food cannot be guaranteed, but can be offered based on availability.
- Joybound People & Pets reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
