Walnut Creek Joybound is directing $20,000 to emergency pet food assistance —​ and matching donations from pet friends dollar for dollar.

 With rising living costs and a freeze on food benefits, families across Contra Costa County are struggling and their pets are feeling the impact, too.

To meet the deepening need, Walnut Creek-based Joybound People & Pets is directing $20,000 of their Giving Tuesday campaign to emergency pet food assistance —and matching donations from pet friends dollar for dollar.
