WALNUT CREEK, CA, September 7, 2023 – The Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) has announced Lisa Moore is joining the organization to serve as Chief Advancement Officer. Ms. Moore brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in development. She will serve on ARF’s senior leadership team, leading fund development, marketing, and community engagement strategies for the organization.
“ARF’s future is brighter than ever with Lisa joining our leadership team,” said Susan Lee Vick, ARF’s CEO. “ARF has always been about community and Lisa’s expertise in community engagement, philanthropy, board development, and strategic planning will be a tremendous asset as we expand services and provide new ways to connect people and pets. Lisa is known as a transformative leader in the nonprofit sector and we are undeniably better together with her on board.”
Ms. Moore brings a track record of leading successful fundraising campaigns in her distinguished advancement career. As Chief Development Officer and Vice President for Advancement at Saint Mary’s College of California, she led a comprehensive campaign that raised more than $136M.
“I am delighted to join ARF during this exciting time of transformation and growth,” said Moore. “It’s an honor to join an organization that shares my belief that pets profoundly improve life, and I’m impressed by all that ARF has achieved.
