Purina Dog Chow’s “Service Dog Salute” to Support Veterans (PR Newswire)
Radio and TV personality Bobby Bones and Purina Dog Chow follow some of our Pets and Vets in training. Their goal is to bring awareness of an unmet need for Veterans and increase the amount of Veterans that have access to getting a trained service dog. Only 1% of Veterans have a service dog due to training and costs. They are making donations to our Pets and Vets program starting Sept – Nov 26, 2020. Additionally, Purina Dog Chow is working on getting the PAWS for Veterans Therapy Act signed by congress. This would enable access for all Veterans in need.
