Inside This Issue
From Our CEO
Fall is my favorite time of year, especially in the Bay Area when summer’s heat has simmered down. My dogs, Sophie and Jax, and I enjoy long hikes through the cool golden days. With summer squarely in our rearview mirror, Joybound is driving full speed ahead into fall.
We’re thrilled to kick off our four-year strategic plan, Better Together. Our Rescue and Adoptions teams have been hard at work, ensuring that adoptable animals are welcomed into Joybound’s care and then to the arms of loving humans. Additionally, our Shelter to Service, Grooming Academy, Training & Enrichment, and Community Solutions programs are all in full swing, making Joybound a hive of activity for pets and the people who love them.
In the pages that follow, you’ll get a glimpse of all we’ve been up to, and there’s so much more to explore! Be sure to bookmark joybound.org to stay updated on our latest happenings and sign up for our e-newsletter to receive news and smiles directly in your inbox at joybound.org/enews. Best of all, be sure to come by campus to visit the adorable adoptable dogs and cats who’d love to meet you!
