The Cat Lounge offers a peaceful space to slow down, spend time with adoptable cats, and experience the healing power of the human–animal bond. We’re proud to bring this unique experience to Concord.” —-Miguel Abi-hassan, Chief of Programs, Joybound People & Pets

The new Joybound Thrift Store, Cat Lounge & Adoption Center may be in a fresh new space, but it is built on a strong foundation of compassion that began right next door in this very Concord complex, with a small but passionate team of volunteers. Joybound’s mission has since grown to reflect not only the importance of rescue and adoption, but also the lasting value of community programs that keep pets and their people together. Our mission continues to reflect a truth we have known since the start, the human–animal bond has the power to promote healing, increase joy and build community.
