Where is the Joybound Thrift Store, Cat Lounge & Adoption Center located?

What is the Cat Lounge?
The Cat Lounge is a cozy, calm indoor space where guests can spend time with adoptable cats in a relaxed environment. It supports cat enrichment while helping potential adopters build meaningful connections.
How old are the cats in the Cat Lounge?
The cats in the Cat Lounge are approximately 9 months and older.
Are the cats at the Cat Lounge adoptable?
Yes! All cats in the lounge are available for adoption unless clearly noted otherwise (for example, if they are on a short behavior break or medical hold).
How long do cats stay in the lounge?
Most cats remain in the lounge until they are adopted. Length of stay can vary depending on factors like a cat’s individual needs, a cat’s comfort level in the environment, and health or behavioral observations.
If a cat becomes stressed or needs a quieter space, we may temporarily move them off the lounge floor.
What happens if a cat becomes ill?
Your safety and the cats’ safety come first. If a cat shows any signs of illness, they are immediately evaluated by Joybound’s veterinary team. Cats may be removed from the lounge for treatment or monitoring. They will return only when they are fully cleared by our team.
Can I donate or shop at the Joybound Thrift Store without visiting the Cat Lounge?

Can I pick up or hold the cats?
No. For everyone’s safety and comfort, visitors may gently pet cats or interact with them with their cat toys. We ask guests to allow the cats to approach you on their own terms.
Are children allowed at the Cat Lounge?
Yes! Children are welcome but must remain with their accompanying adult at all times.
How many people may enter the Cat Lounge at once?
To maintain a calm environment, staff may limit capacity. No more than four guests may be in the lounge at a time.
