“For years, I have had a desire to adopt another dog to join my family. In Feb 2022, I finally did it and I couldn’t be more grateful and happy with the decision. I adopted Violet (formerly Sophia) knowing that I wanted to rescue a special needs dog as we have a 9 year old special needs dog as well. There is a special bond I have when I see a dog that has a little more to overcome than others. Violet now spends her days playing while we work, socialize at the dog park, or join her friends at K9 San Ramon Day care. Although she is only 8 months old, she has already established a reputation at our local dog parks and neighborhood as the joyful and resilient pup who is always looking for new pup pals! We’re so happy and thankful for ARF life bringing Sophia to our lives and the amazing programs they offered (ARF clinic, puppy socials, etc) that helped Violet so much!”
