1 year 8 months, 45 pounds, Oakley.

This is Stella. She is 1 year and 8 months old. She is a husky mix that was abandoned in a vineyard behind my house around 11 weeks old while flea infested. My family couldn’t take her to a shelter so we kept her with our two additional dogs. She is a great dog. She has lots of energy and loves new adventures. She likes the dog park, going on hikes, and being outdoors. She loves playing in a doggy pool. She is crate trained and potty trained. She is extremely smart. She knows commands and lots of tricks. She has a spunky personality and is truly a wonderful dog to be around. Recently, as she’s gotten older she has peaked an interest about our livestock on the property unlike our other two dogs. She digs to get to their separated area. We’ve done a lot of escape proofing to our backyard to block her getting into the livestock’s pin. It works for a while, but not for long. She is friendly with people and other dogs but should not be rehomed to a family with livestock. She is loving and would fit well in a family with high energy, older children, and a playful, similar sized or larger dog. If I could I would keep her. It saddens my family and I to give her to another family, but I have no other choice in order to keep all my animals safe on the property.
