2 years old, 50 pounds, Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek.

Butters is a 2yr old husky mix. She is the perfect balance of fun/energetic yet calm and loving. She enjoys attention and will reach her paw or rest her head by you in order to grab it. She is wonderful with our 3 kids the youngest being 3 when we rescued her. She is house, potty and crate trained and does well in the crate for up to 6hrs if needed. Butters has been through basic obedience classes as a puppy and knows to sit, stay, leave it, down, drop it etc. Her recall is good at times but could use additional training. Like most rescue dogs, Butters is timid with strangers at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable she warms up to you quickly. We are saddened to have to rehome her, but we also know she needs time and attention that we will not be able to provide while taking care of my Mother. Butters is a loyal and protective pet who will make anyone who takes her in feel loved and appreciated.
